Mixroom Mastery is a 6-session, 1-on-1 deep dive into DJing — personalized entirely to where you are right now. Whether you're a complete beginner fresh from the intro class, an intermediate DJ wanting to break through a plateau, or a seasoned performer chasing advanced curation and performance skills, we build your curriculum around you.
Each session builds deliberately on the last. This isn't open-ended jamming — it's a structured progression with a clear trajectory, tracked milestones, and a mentor who knows where you're headed before you even sit down.
Three tracks are available: Beginner, Advanced, and Master. Your intake session determines your starting point, and you can move between tracks as your skills develop.
Curriculum
A brief intake session to assess your current skill level and place you in the correct track — ensuring you're never bored or lost.
Beatmatching, phrase matching, EQ transitions, and the mechanics of a clean, musical blend — built systematically over multiple sessions.
For intermediate and advanced students: effects integration, loop performance, creative filtering, and building dynamic tension in a live set.
How to build a crate that tells a story — the art of track selection, key compatibility, energy mapping, and developing your sonic identity as a DJ.
Reading the room, managing crowd energy, the psychology of a DJ set, and how to perform with confidence behind the decks.
In your sixth session, you record a structured mix from start to finish — your first proper DJ mix for your portfolio or social media presence.
